Facebook Gaming says that organized games (like tournaments), connect people around gaming in powerful ways.
However, funding and access to opportunities to play in an organized manner in the midst of a pandemic are increasingly limited.
So, Facebook Gaming launched its tournament product in March to help people stay connected through gaming, Now Facebook is expanding that effort.
The Facebook Gaming tournament series kicked off on Saturday (20/2/21) yesterday, and featured the Valorant tournament hosted by CGNY.
Not only the Valorant tournament, the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom competition organized by RTS has also taken place.
