Rumor: Resident Evil 4 Remake is in the works by Capcom

Gamenization – Capcom seems to really want to remake the Resident Evil game franchise, rumors spread that they are working on a Resident Evil 4 remake. Of course, with the success of the previously released Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, the Resident Evil 4 remake could be successful in the market considering that this game has been in demand by fans of the Resident Evil franchise even since its release.

Quoted from the VGC website, Capcom has confirmed and approved the development of the Resident Evil 4 Remake game led by the game studio M-Two. It should be noted that the RE4 Remake development project has been in development since 2018. Other than that, the game has only ever been remastered and ported to various platforms, and has never been remake.

There was also news that the director of the Resident Evil 4 game, Shinji Mikami, was offered to head the project for the RE4 Remake game, unfortunately he turned it down. Even though Shinji Mikami refuses, he will still provide input and as an advisor so that the remake game can be as good as the original game.

The plan for this Resident Evil 4 Remake game will be released in 2022 on the next-gen console. It’s currently under development and production by Capcom and its new studio, M-Two.

Since its release in 2005, there have been re-releases, remastering, and porting to various platforms, but no full remake has yet been released. With the remake project of RE4 it is hoped that it will make fans of the Resident Evil franchise happy, let’s wait for the release of this game, hopefully it can be as good as the original or even better. What do you think?, Are you impatient waiting for this game to be released on the market?.
