Cowsep, a South Korean LoL Wild Rift streamer, has uploaded a perma-banned photo of his LoL WR account.

In the picture, Cowsep received a notification from LoL WR that his account has been banned permanently

“This account has been permanently blocked due to the use of prohibited third party software and will not be able to access Wild Rift.”

“This type of behavior causes damage to our community and the competitive integrity of the game. This action will not be undone. “

Throughout the game Cowsep does not appear to be using any cheats, instead he uses an emulator to run LoL Wild Rift.

The emulator is a third party application and it looks like Riot Games really does not tolerate third parties in the slightest.

Riot wants to encourage players to play LoL Wild Rift on mobile recording devices and if they want to play LoL on PC, Riot has the PC version of the game which is more than 1 decade old.

Future Emulator implementations

We don’t know yet if Riot will ease their rules regarding Wild Rift players in the emulator.

They can implement a system like PUBG Mobile where emulator players will always face other emulator players.
